Located in the town now known as Arlington, Menotomy Grill and Tavern gives a respectful nod to the neighborhood's pre-Revolutionary War history, named Menotomy by Native Americans in 1635. This spacious and comfortable gastropub, located on the border between Arlington and North Cambridge, offers rustic contemporary ambiance, a cozy fireplace, outdoor seating during warmer months and an ample parking lot. Chef Mark Thompson delivers unique and inventive dishes as well as some traditional standards, bringing to the restaurant his years of experience at Chez Henri and Stoddards. The bar features a respectable list of craft beers on draught, including a rotating cask selection.

If you like cilantro, then this is your place! If you think (correctly) that cilantro is a vile weed, that shouldn't be anywhere near a plate of food, then you may want to make sure it's not on your dish before you leave. I just recently moved back to the area and found this place on my way home from work. I've ordered twice to go and specifically made it clear that I really don't want the overhyped, pesticide proof herb, touching anything I eat and both times the basil wannabe, stemmed flowering, soap tasting crabgrass has found its way onto my entree. I give the place 5 stars because the atmosphere, the beer and most of all the service, is fantastic! Also, I'm not a douche bag and I can pull what I don't like off. So there really isn't a reason to give them less of a grade based on a personal dislike.... but please, double check next time for me. Or I can. Whatever

While this is your typical American grill, the food is enjoyable and well done. The setting and relaxed atmosphere is what's makes this place better than other similar restaurants. I enjoyed the food and my visit and I'll likely come back for more!

Relatively quiet, Texas themed (?) Restaurant with a nice L-shaped bar, with a few booths and tables by the windows. Parking is shared with other businesses, but seemed manageable after business hours as the pediatrics parking lot behind the gym in the back probably gets less use. I got a cranberry cider, the fried pickles (awesome sauce!), Sausage stuffing (GF!!!) - it's mostly sausage crumbles in a little bowl, and a scoop of ice cream. It was a decent bill for the atmosphere and the quality.
